Looking to build more of a canyon/track car again, after my previous E46 was totaled by an uninsured driver. Below you'll find my list of musts and wants. I'm located in Los Angeles, willing to travel for the right car .. prefer to stay local. I have one or two good prospects, but looking to see what else is out there before pulling the trigger. This will be my...3rd E46, and 7th+ M3 in general, so certainly not my first rodeo.
Musts:
- Coupe
- Manual
- No major body damage, or dents that cannot be pulled via. PDR.
Wants:
- Maintenace; the more the better, obviously.
- Modifications; track orientated. Solid/poly bushings, coilovers, 3.91/4.10 diff, brakes, whatever.
- Quarter window trim/seals in good condition.
- Black/red/cinnamon interior (not grey if possible).
- Business radio; no navigation.
I don't care about miles, so long as the car has been well maintained and meets my criteria.
My budget is $25k, hoping to spend mid/low 20s depending on the car. For reference, I purchased my last (well-modified: recaros, cage, TCKs) car for $23.5k with 104k miles not too long ago so I feel as though this is a reasonable budget; esp. considering I do not care about miles.
