Seems like it would have been a lot less work just to swap the trunks to get a "sleeper 330", and would have retained a hell of a lot more value.

IMO 32750 was a good deal for this car. If the new owner is on this forum, trade me =)

I guess they updated the final bid, because it definitely closed at 25.5

They were part of building a very nice white full M3 wagon conversion. As is with the pics of this M3 sedan, it looks to be very nice. I’d take that wagon over the sedan.

^Not me as I'd love to have it but I'd prefer a wagon and will build that someday. The other issue for us in the forum is that we are biased because it is StatusGruppe and their reputation for delivering what they promise hit all time lows the last few years. And yes tons of people can afford it with no issue and it is definitely talked about a lot and that is one reason I want to see where it ends as that will tell whether the "sought after" status for a M3 sedan is real or just talk among us enthusiasts. I know some m3/m5 wagons have done extremely well.
Anyways, what do you think it goes for?

I think you guys are underestimating the want for a e46 m3 sedan. Plenty of ppl can buy this without financing. I think this car will do well as it should. It’s rare and sought after. Goodluck to the seller.

In stock form that's an $8k car all day long in very good condition and modified like that will take special insurance and financing (if you're not paying in cash). It's just a hard sell and will take either a) the right person or b) a cheap price - not to mention the economy isn't great right now and dumping $30k+ cash into a ZHP seems like a very bad financial decision. Financing at a low-interest rate seems safer, but you'll never be able to finance that car.
But hey, this is BAT and 2020 and I'm just some guy on the forums. Who knows what will happen. ha!
