Selling my e60 M5. I have no idea what it's worth, so starting it based on the only estimate I was given here:
For those that have been around for a while, this was Vodyk's car. He was a close real life friend of mine.
He died 12 years ago, and his parents kept the car. A couple of years ago they needed to sell it and asked if I wanted to take it over. I did.
The bad:
124,680 miles
The 6mt is a swap-- but was done with all factory parts, and you'd never know when driving the car.
The good:
clean title, zero crash history
never smoked in, never eaten in

Dinan 3.91 differential (commonly considered to be a requirement for the 6mt to work well, and not included stock)

Dinan muffler
Dinan front strut tower braces

Upkeep. Lots done at 110,000 mile:
rod bearings (new OE)
main bearings (new OE)
Updated oil squirters from the V3 S85 (new OE)
rear main seal (new OE)
clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing/pilot bearing (new OE)
flywheel (new OE)
CSB/Guibo (new OE)
Spark plugs (new OE)
coils (new OE)
fuel injectors (new OE)
all the top end gaskets (new OE)
Throttle actuator (Euro Power Motorsport-- which should last longer than new OE)
water pump (new OE)
thermostat (new OE)
pre cat 02s (new OE)
engine mounts (new OE)
trans mounts (new OE)
belts/tensioners/idlers (new OE)
vanos line (new OE)
All sorts of bushings/bearings (with factory rubber-- no poly crap)
The indifferent:
Black on Black with alu trim
The broken:
-One of the angel eyes is out, and I unplugged the other. I never bothered looking into it as I hate angel eyes in general, so would have them unplugged even if they worked.
-I had it in for state inspection last month (which it passed), and they mentioned that one of the KW shocks shows signs of leaking a little. I haven't investigated it at all, but seemingly that is a thing.
