They do get a bit funny about things like wishbone bushes once you go over 60k:banghead:

I put the fully comp warranty on the car in the end.
According to the person that I spoke to, there is no step (in terms of cover) at 60k, although the warranty wording does make numerous references to 'wear and tear' so we shall see...

Will give them a buzz and report back.

One biggie is that Named Components doesn't cover any oil leaks (e.g. differential seals that are a given at some point).

Your SMG pump will give up in the next 10k.
Make sure whatever you take out covers it.....

Fully Comprehensive vs. Named Component
I'm going to put the Mondial warranty back on the CSL after a break. At the moment the car has 55k on it - I was thinking of doing the first year Fully Comp and then moving to Named Component as I get closer to 60k, both monthly.
Two questions:
- What are the obvious things that could be covered by Fully Comprehensive and not Named Component?
- How do they change at 60k? I'm not talking about the costs but rather the level of cover (which, from one of Shimmy's posts, sounds like will drop).Tags: None
