    so bought one of these:

    BMC panel filter

    and one of these:

RS rear air ram duct (helps get more air in)

going to be painted guards red. idea is to help with breathing a little bit.

going to go all red and keep the RS spoiler come spring. remove the graphics and paint front/rear bumpers.

sth like this (apart from the black roof!):

am thinking about some sports headers/manifolds (3 into one) for the car too. waiting to see how mate gets on with his and how they perform:

the OEM headers are pretty crude it seems so should help with gas flow and running smoother through the range:

    over and out.

    been a while since updates....

got rid of the road tyres. got some semi slicks on. big difference.

centre console and seat eyelets for the harnesses done in guards red. not everyones cup of tea I know but was fed up with darth vader's bedroom inside ;-)

    really pleased with the outcome:

JACK from ROYAL STEERING WHEELS done a great job on the steering wheel and gear lever (dark grey alcantara with red stitching)

    here are some pics:

the other piece was changing the ARB settings around. was on full hard setting so very harsh on the road. went down 2 on the front and 1 on the rear. feels easier on the road and less crashy. handy if u get caught in the wet too.

just got car back from Lepsons in Gillingham and they have done a cracking job.

before 3 of the wheels had marks on them and the paint had a flake in it so hard to match.

    refurb in Gloss black:

next job is send the Steering wheel and gear lever off to Jack at Royal to get done in Dark grey alcantara with red stitching.

    over and out, NW

In my 996 GT3. The driver definitely clocked me and followed up for a while. Saying that I do not think that particular red one has the RS modifications.

my mate just got an offer of 90k on a 30k mile 996 RS in white/blue....he laughed at it. Mad the way its all going.

I am slightly jealous in that I want to do the RS cooling duct and spoiler conversions which you already have.

CSLSuperfan, you will be very lucky indeed to pick up a GT3 or RS at the moment. They have all disappeared and it has been like that for a while now. They presently seem like another appreciating asset.

Pip totally agree on the gt3/rs availability. Viper green rs on PH last week
RHD 179,000K. The world has indeed gone completely mad!!

That said the end of the summer usually brings out the odd car for sale.
