From my first drive on Dunlop 03g on the road, mixed conditions from cold I'd say they are better than cups. Had grip straight away, didn't feel heavy and was able to push harder.

At Snetterton on Wednesday so will probably rain.

They look bloody awesome on the car.

I've just ordered a set of cup 2's for the CSL today. Currently on super sports and wanted something a bit more sticky.

Has anyone concluded what is the difference between original cup and cup 2?

Same setup, same track... what is the laptime difference ?

Really good race team competition there with shimmy and barry.

I'm looking forward to some testing with them next year:

    What car is everyone taking?

Age (and weight) is creeping up and working against me now. Luckily absence of Cup tyres may save my blushes, and also luckily O'Neill isn't as quick as 83SY, even though he says Dunlops are quicker!

I cannot run 18s due to the size of the brakes :banghead:
