Exhaust Header cracked at flex/bellows (Euro)

    Good Evening all,

Been a big weekend so far; new Delrin RTABs, RSMs, JBR flywheel, clutchmasters clutch, oil press switch, UUC shifter and much more, but as i was doing up my last bolt on the tranny, my torch directed it's light to my 4-5-6 header flexi/bellows section which is now cracked.

Ok, that's fine, it's a usual drama so, what have you seen or done?

    1) Get a braided flexi section and weld in

    2) Weld in a straight pipe

    3) Dodgily weld up the bellows xD

There is a guy in England who looks like he does a good job for 150pound, but being in Australia, it's a real pain in the a***.

I'll be headed down to a Exhaust shop this week some time (I'm new-ish to the area so i'm going by word of mouth) to see if someone can do option #1, but interested to hear what others have done.

I'm headed back into the garage to finish up the driveshaft and attack my intake manifold, namely #6 trumpet nut and that damn jubilee clamp at the lower back edge of the airbox (which makes me quite angry) but i'll be checking back every few hours or so.

Had the car for 6 weeks now, '96 Boston Green Euro.

    Cheers
Working...
