SOLD NJ: ‘04 M3 6MT coupe, carbon black, big 3 done, clean carfax, clean!!

    SOLD

    2004 M3 6MT
    166k miles
    Big 3 done!
Clean title, no accidents, clean carfax
    Asking $25k, no trades
    North NJ - 07452

For sale is my E46 M3 coupe with an original 6MT. This car has been a dream, but I only intended to keep it for one year then move on to an E92. It was too good to give up, so now I’m on my third year 😆. It was finally time to get that E92. Both me and the previous owner have done extensive maintenance and refreshing, so it feels and drives like a car that is much younger.

Video of the car from the previous owner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94vfwn3n-EQ. It’s still in this condition.

    Big 3 at ~155k miles:
    - New OEM rod bearings
    - VAC S54 Vanos hub
    - Subframe reinforced by Kassel Performance

    Mods:
    - Status Gruppe coilovers
    - Hotchkis front swaybar
    - Eventuri intake
    - Bimmerworld CPI rasp terminator pipe
    - VMR wheels
    - (Optional) Rogue El Diablo exhaust**

    Recent maintenance/replacements:
    - MAF
    - Water pump
    - Thermostat
    - Front wheel bearings
    - O2 sensors
    - Fuel pump
    - Fuel filter
    - Spark plugs
    - Coils
    - Cabin filter
    - New headlight lenses
    - Injectors serviced by RC Fuel Injection
    - Valves adjusted

    Good:
    - Paint is overall in great shape
    - Interior leather is in great shape. Rear seats look nearly unused
    - The car looks stunning. I frequently get compliments as a “super clean E46”
    - Garage kept in my and previous owner’s ownership
    - No lights or codes
    - No rust or corrosion

    Bad:
    - Bumpers show some wear - front bumper has rock chips and top of the rear bumper has some fade
    - Headliner sags
    - AC not working. It worked most of my ownership, but stopped just recently. Haven’t investigated since I was about to sell

** My plan is to put the OEM exhaust back on and sell the El Diablo exhaust separately for $1k. I can leave it on and sell it to you for $800. It sounds incredible, specially if you like loud with minimal drone. I’ve done 12 hour drives on it no problem.

    DM me if interested.

Clean! Should have no problems selling. How do you like the V8?

Thanks! Sounds incredible, and it’s the first car I’ve had with real useable power. The car is also more modern than the E46 in the right ways. That said, you can def feel the weight and it’s not nearly as nimble. Overall, it feels like a better daily but not as good of a weekend car.
