It was already on the car when I got it but yeah it has been cut. I suppose it can be filled in but it doesnt really bother me at all. it is in line with the vents

I think they could just have been rotated differently, more pointing outboard, or some guys place them more in the middle of the hood. Anyway, I assume there's no way to reverse this because the hood has been cut and drilled, right?

where else would you put them? That is where the radiator support goes.

TBH the positioning of the aerocatch latches in relation to the vents is kind of unfortunate. I don't think I could get past the awkwardly close spacing of those
