Is not the closing plate also custom to seal the TB? Though simple in principle I am sure is a precision job. But I would think a proper machine shop would be able to do it to spec.

Someone is inevitably going to come in here and talk-down VAC products. I personally never had a problem but YMMV. I don't know anyone who has these so GL there but its really just boring out the TBs. I would think they are competent enough to do that..

Advorsor, I'd like to visit with someone who's running the bored VAC t-bodies. VAC lists them as "V.2", almost insinuating these are a second generation version. Was there a previous generation which they upgraded?

Anyone running the VAC enlarged throttle bodies, who'd like to jump in?

That would be great if we could find a good source who can do the job to Normal M3 TB's.

My new racing S54 has head work, larger cams, exhaust, etc. to run to 8,500RPM (ish) so the larger t-bodies will help with a bit more than 1HP, I hope. SCCA just approved the larger ported bodies for class T1 for the S54.

Is says they're available on the Turner site?

Nice would love to hear it.

YES in your case it will help for sure. I would have loved to get them because they look sexy BEFORE being installed, but then common sense kicked in LOL.

I'll keep an eye out for you.
