I think that the CSL Cup will run on the Dunlop G&B days as follows;

Dunlop Great & British Motorsport festival Race Dates 2009

18 -19 April Rockingham
06 - 07 June Brands Hatch
04 - 05 July Donington Park
18 -19 July Castle Combe
22 - 23 August Croft
27 - 28 September Snetterton

Donington looks like a good date, and the most central for 'national meet', anyone up for that?

Anyone got any contacts with the circuit/organisers so that we could have a dedicated area to park/display?

Sounds good to me too. I have contacts with Donno as have organised a few trackdays there in the past.

Andy, I'm sure we could get a few together and do a South Wales & South West meet. I'm in Abergavenny. Castle Combe would be a good venue. I've got a busy year coming up but will also try to get to a few csl race meets if they go ahead.

Agree Alex, combe would be good....there are a few on here that are close plus we have 4 in Chepstow.

May I suggest not going in convoy if ring trips are made - I don't know if anyone heard about the circuit days episode a month or two ago but many cars were impounded and missed the track day at the ring - the rest of europe are not taking too kindly to us brits heading over en masse.

I would be well up for Donny & Oulton meets. I don't have the time to go out for random meets but if there is a track day with a load of other csls' then I would make an extra effort.

I may be able to negotiate a slightly preferential rate with bookatrack.com at Donny if we get enough interest.

May I also suggest that if a group of us doa track day and don't have insurance in our normal policies, I will probably be able to get a decent deal with competition car insurance to cover 10+ cars for a track day. Or Richard Eggar insurance.
