Once they're at their optimum operating temp there's no comparison. Dry grip is immense - leagues, worlds, solar systems, galaxies ahead of PS2 :-D
I've seen 1.5G on the data logger
most interesting thing i found when foirst fiting and driving with Cups was that feeling like the car was happy with them and it just seemed to work....
it was a strange feeling by very obvious one if i am honest

Qestion..everyone talks about the optimum operating temp for cups...how do you know...is it touchy feely until you can go round a bend without landing in the hedge.
Yes it's a 'feel thing', but you can also tell by the touch (if stationary) - just put your hand on them, they feel like chewing gum!
But beware.......... the slip angles......... sudden breakaway and you have to be quick to catch.
They are fine on the road and despite other comments, you can generate adequate temps on road. Just adapt and change your driving style. You can feel the grip levels build very easily once you get to know them.
Just one word of caution. When they're brand new they are VERY slippy slidey. They need a scrub in. On track be very cautious for 2-3 laps, as Mark found out in his post. :bigcry:
