I'd forgotten about this thread! Well, I can indeed confirm that Cup tyres rock compared to road tyres on a CSL! :supz:
I can only compare them to the PS2s that i have used on previous trackdays but they give awesome levels of grip in the bendy bits and inspire massive confidence in the car. I managed to shave on average over 20secs from my previous Ring lap times.
Like AlexGTT, i have adjustable camber plates and these do help with wear and longevity issues as long as you keep checking those pressures!

Cool that's good to hear Glendog as i have a set waiting for me back home.
I'm going to get them filled with Nitrogen, i'll let you all know how i get on.
So from reading this thread i take it you should run about -2.5 camber on the front on track yes???? What camber should i run the front on the road?
What about the rear camber???

Bealo, as mentioned on another thread you need to run what "you" need to run and only a tyre pyrometer or trial and error will tell you. If you have stock suspension then I'd suggest it seems 2.5 deg neg is a good starting point from others accounts. If you have upgraded the suspension it would seem in some cases 2 deg is enough. This will depend also on your driving style.Originally posted by Bealo View PostCool that's good to hear Glendog as i have a set waiting for me back home.
