Official BMW M3 CSL "Product Selling Point" Brochure

My sales guy came across this brochure and decided to give it to me knowing that I have a CSL.

I don't think I've seen this posted up before (or I've forgotten) - but it's headed "Product Selling Point" BMW M3 CSL.

Anyway I took photos of the brochure and thought I'd post it up here (mods, apologies if this is in the wrong forum:blalalala Apologies for the poor lighting. If you guys really want this in high quality, I'll get it scanned at the office tomorrow and repost it up as a pdf or something.

      I concur!!!!!

Actually I've been looking into this "carboard floor myth" and the brochure confirms it ... HOWEVER I don't think it's the trunk floor mat that we all assume it to be (item 1 in the picture below) - and if you cross reference the part numbers this trunk floor mat is identical to the one found in the E46 M3.

However if you look at item 8 in the schematics in the brochure posted above - if you look at the shape of it outlined in blue I actually think it's item number 6 below - which is listed as "Removable Panel for luggague compartment" - and cross referencing the part number this part is unique to the CSL.

Lucky bugger, I wonder if my dealer has one.

The brochure shows the car with xenons, I dont think BMW ever really intended on selling them all without options.

Tom, just happened upon this mate, if you have a pdf of it, I would appreciate it. I think this would put anyone who has had a warranty claim kicked back in a stronger position to argue, especially if it went to Court ! words like "Racing" could be bought to the Judges attention !! Tom you are more qualified to comment on that bit !

                      Cool!
I see on the top speed there is a note that 'information on removing the top speed restriction is included in the purchase contract'. Has anyone ever seen one of them? I presume that's the one with the disclaimer for using the car in the wet with cups?

If you have a race licence you can get the limiter removed for a fee.
