Well,im back after my long trip to Murketts[740 miles],what a nice guy Andy Pressland is,and very helpfull in sorting out my CSL,you guys who live up that way are very lucky to have a Bmw service team who know so much about CSLs and actually fight are corner.Got my warranty work done with no hassel, and had the parts orderd before they had seen the car. They put my flap back back on cleaned the bushes and a new Actuator, new micro switch behind one of the paddles, reset the softwear for the clutch slur, found a broken spring and replaced the pair, found a cracked front alloy, which Andy says its the first one he has seen, got a new one fitted the same day, athough not under warranty:bigcry:.I will without a dout travel the same distance again for any other warranty work or an inspection.Andy says he has 64 csls on the books,4 of which were there today.:thumbs:

Been wondering where to go for some CSL savvy...went to my local dealer for a diff seal replacement on Friday, and they hadn't ordered the damn part (despite having the car up on the ramp the previous weekend for a look)...so I turn up tail end of the day and they tell me 'it's been ordered sir and will be in next week'...FFS! :banghead:
I get over to Cambridge on biz quite regularly so will be using them instead...good excuse to cause some noise pollution along the M4 :hahaha:

Just got off the phone to Andy Pressland - what a thoroughly nice, helpful chap. I mentioned Shimmy and Brett and that they (Murketts) have a good reputation on certain forums...
Have booked my car in for its Insp I in October, courtesy car is arranged, and he is also going to pre-order a couple of parts for me so that they can sort a couple of minor issues whilst i'm there (PAS hoses & rear window seal).
He mentioned that Murketts now have over 70 UK CSLs on their servicing register - must be a good sign!

I spoke to Andy on Monday about getting the Inspection 2 done on mine, it's due in 500 miles now, also waiting on him coming back to me about a couple of things on the Girlfriends new convertible, I'll more than likely take that up there as well seeing as it seems they know what they're doing! :thumbs:Originally posted by glendog74 View PostJust got off the phone to Andy Pressland - what a thoroughly nice, helpful chap.
