    Another insurance thread.....The Ring

Guys - does anybody cover the ring ? I see most firms make a point of excluding it (my Admiral policy certainly does). Speaking to CCI yesterday, they also exclude it despitethe trackday coverage and said I would be luck to find a firm that would.

What do people do ? Go without ?

It would be worth asking about that as if they are fully insured it should really cover that aswell in the "ring" insurance.

                          Karbonkid & Phat

You may want to take a look at these earlier threads concerning www.nurburgmotorsport.com insurance:

Brits making the pilgrimage to drive the Nurburgring Circuit in Germany are being offered a new one-off insurance policy that could save thousands of Euros in the event of an accident. (http://www.pistonheads.com/pics/news/20312/968ringCrahs-L.jpg) Nurburgring accidents can be expensive According to Ken Harris of

Ha sanyone seen this.... Police at the new Nürburgring are promising to be stricter with all Visitors who flout Germany rules for vehicles, starting this August onwards!A NEW crackdown has been launched by the RheinlandPfalz Police, in and around the Nürburgring region. Police are sending out a message to all Visitors

You have to have your vehicle inspected to validate cover
You are only covered for 8 laps (how they count i am unsure...)
Your vehicle is not covered at all against damage
3rd Party vehicles are not covered at all for damage caused by you
Only trackside 'furniture' is covered - barriers, trees, fence, etc.

It aint worth the paper its written on... Fekin shite! :smt012
