Whoever want's to know how his CSL left the plant, i could send the data. (like a birth certificate)
Just send a PM with your VIN, and i will send the data back.
It is realy interresting to see how different they came out.

we could print out all our different datas, but with 1400-1500 cars it will look like te yellow pages. :hahaha:

good info Roland - now all we need is an insider in DVLA:thumbs:

It's ok, I'll start my own register with just my car on it if it bothers you that much! :birdman: :bigcry: :bigcry: :blalalala:

Good idea chaps. It would be good to have a proper paid up members area.:thumbs:Not sure I agree to a 500 post minimum though. I think an agreed annual subscription would sort the genuine enthusiast members from those passing through. What amount for membership is the question?

A comprehensive register of the cars is well overdue.

                        Gents,

Good idea getting to get a register of the cars together! If you make it exclusive though to paying members or people with a certain amount of posts then won't you miss out on info on cars owned by those that aren't posting all the time or are new to the forum?

Is the idea of this for the good of the CSL marque and to stop people in general getting ripped off or buying bad cars, or is it just a private thing for you guys that run the forum?

I see it as usefull and valuable info that will help any prospective purchaser of a CSL. I think to ask them to be a member to access it would be good for site upkeep and also keep it private from google searches. I don't think it should go on post count. It would also be another source for people to indroduce their car/s

It will also give us internet geeks something to do :hahaha:

So I guess we can find out which number out of the total production a car is but not out of UK 422 the car is. From this mine seems to be one of the latter ones. Still a 53 though

Mine was built Dec03 and is a late JC98*** car i guess. How many were built as i guess that would tell us the past JC98*** car

July 03 for me, and an early one as it has 0 on the dash cluster for neutral rather than n.
