Nice Hotel in the lakes???

I thought I would ask, even tho you lot are all blaaady sarverners:beer:


I am looking for a nice 'modern' Hotel in the lakes, to whisk the mrs away for a night of unbridled passion - well a steak and a bottle of red then snoring most probably...

I normally would stay at the Swan at newby bridge, or The Langdale Chase( hardly contemporary but its a fantastic place)

Any ideas anyone?

Derwent Lodge Hotel in Portinscale. Ask for the Catbells room.
Food also excellent.
