Totally agree with you. I just didnt notice much difference on the road when I had pagid 19's on with the standard brakes and 29's with the AP's.. If youre not tracking the car braided hoses and uprated pads give best value for performanceOriginally posted by shimmy View PostTrouble is Derek, as Curly will tell you, when you start you need APs bit then as you get better and learn to brake correctly, the BBK upgrade is less likely to always be necessary, depending on your style

Got to say on my Evo I fitted the K-Sport 8 pots and tracked the living $hite out of it.
Then bought my 22b and went along the lines of std size stuff with decent fluid, hoses, pads and disks and TBH i never had any problems.
CSL had the AP's upon purchase so can't comment on the standard set up but i took that as a nice "too have" accesory

Hi, I got my car from a guy near stirling which is not far from where i live in edinburgh. it was a bit over budget but it is like a brand new car, totally immaculate and low miles. I had been out in an e92 m3 that day for a test drive just to make sure i didn't want one of those, but the csl just blew it away! 10 times more fun, I drove one when they first came out and wanted one ever since, but i had forgotten just how good they are! and the sound !!! just awesome!!
