each to their own i guess.... :hahaha:

it's funny how every new sports car that's being released is stamped with 0 - xxx mph times or top speed..... as if it were soooo important.... MP4 12C is most famous for 3.1 seconds to 62mph or Italia 458 for doing similar.... and then for going fast in circles... Not the other way round. :hahaha: :hahaha: :hahaha:

I'd even go as far as to say that the selling point of majority of sports cars is how fast they are... BHP, looks and whether it's been developed at Nordschleife. :hahaha: that will give you the sale and not how fast it goes in a circle at Bedford Autodrome.

also, i wonder - what GT3 Porsche has that CSL hasn't got and won't ever catch up to it on circle racing.

One would be straight line speed - GT3s are much faster as you well know.

I reckon - V8 S65 engine (you know, the V10 with two less cylinders) in a CSL would make CSL a really fast car.

yeah ok... tell me i am completely wrong then?

If you still insist that acceleration is not important then 1. you make up 0.0001% of all petrolheads 2. i don't understand certain GTR thread on certain forum....

ahh no need to reply, i already know the answer coming.

Number 1 - where did I say that? I've read my posts again and cannot see how you have inferred that? I said that I'd rather have a car that felt fast at sane speeds through driver involvement and rawness than a car that required you to be going so fast to get a buzz that you'd end up being big Ron's new girlfriend on B wing if you were caught.

Number 2 - I was impressed by the lap time, for such a big old bus it goes round corners well.
