Looking at the EC-7 for next year with slicks, will the 9.5 x 18 ET35 and 10 x 18 ET25 fit okay without spacers, shod with Michelin 25/64-18 and 27/65-18 does anyone see any problems :-D

you may need a small spacer on the front depending on the tyre shape, and rears even may benefit from 10mm as well.Originally posted by CraigMillwardCroft View PostLooking at the EC-7 for next year with slicks, will the 9.5 x 18 ET35 and 10 x 18 ET25 fit okay without spacers, shod with Michelin 25/64-18 and 27/65-18 does anyone see any problems :-D

Link above are the OEM CSL wheel weights, didn't think they were that heavy.
The EC-7 18x9 et31 are 9.64kg/21.25lb.
Jim' £900 with discount and postage discount. Then I have to wait and see for UK tax/duty:whistle:

Not sure about 10x18 and larger slicks as I've not had any experience of them or worked it out.Originally posted by CraigMillwardCroft View PostCheers Shimmy so the rims should be oka then, cage should be in before Donington
Yep, I put in the 3mm spacer and the tyre/rim was very close still to the spring perch but I think another 2 mm might do it.Originally posted by O'Neill View PostShimmy when you ran Nitron with your wheels, how much clearance did you have from the spring with a 3mm spacer.
Would 2mm more have worked.
Of not you could order some Intrax spring perches which are a slightly different shape.
