OK thanks, sorry, didn't mean to create work for you. Great effort getting all this data together.

Surprised how many CSLs were ordered with the double spoke rims. Almost all today seem to be on the CSL rims - makes me think they had suply issues, and dealers retrofitted the correct ones afterwards??? (bit like with the xenon washers).

RHD data checked an updated in the original post. I also missed detailing about the Japanese spec pre-production car that was built in RHD form. This is interesting as all of the production cars were LHD for that market. So I have included that bit of info in the RHD post.

Just noticed this thread. Here is a brief info from Turkish market ;

Turkey imported 8 csl's. 7 of them officially imported thorugh BMW distributor, Borusan Otomotiv in Turkey and one black car through grey market.
Of those seven official imports, 6 are silver 1 in black.
The grey market import is black too.
They are all on the road.
Official imports are all nov 03 productions with jb987xx wins. Grey market one I don't know (smg display has 0 instead of N in neutral position if its a clue)

Unfortunately I can't remember them all. As I said they came in one batch they all had JB987XX.

I can narrow it down from this. Did they have front number plate holders and what language was the owners manual in and the instrument cluster? There were 9 silver grey cars built and 13 black, so we should be able to discount the latter. 7 of the 9 silver ones were delimited, but he language packs suggest they went all over Europe?
