The guy who I'm in with at moment is also entering an MX5 so may end up sharing it with him, albeit there is work to be done on it to get it ready. Have booked Nov 7th @ Snotty for familiarization so that could work well, be better to use the day in an MX5 though rather than the CSL if at that point I have a definite seat somewhere !

One mk1 for 12 hours will be lucky to last the 12 hours, especially if it is not in tip top condition.Originally posted by DuncanR View PostThe guy who I'm in with at moment is also entering an MX5 so may end up sharing it with him, albeit there is work to be done on it to get it ready. Bedford it was mate, and a Saturday morning, some trackday was on and you just filter into it for your practical assessment, did about 5 laps in one of those Peugeot CRZX things opr whatever the fook they are !Originally posted by ando View PostSo you'll be doing the cervical cup next year as well eh!!???!!
Did you do it at bedford?, been looking to do mine there.

I will not be doing the Cervical Cup next year mate ! .... committed to too many BTCC races already !:blalalala:
That was my fear as well mate, Im sure that your cars will be a better proposition all round, would hate to spunk the money and then have it retired before I get any seat time !! Seeing him tomorrow, he is out at the Ring for first time this week-end, he is an ARDS instructor with MSV probably known by some.Originally posted by shimmy View PostOne mk1 for 12 hours will be lucky to last the 12 hours, especially if it is not in tip top condition.

With two car per team and 2-4 drivers you are pretty much guaranteed a good shot of 12 hours driving. If you drive for 12 hours my guess is you will have a chance of a podium.
With one car, any mechanical issues and the team is idol, whilst others end out the second cars. It would be better to rent a second car with him than reply on one.
Housey would prob let you have his if you out a new engine in it!

So its a relay/team event then ? I asked him if it was and he said no ! fook that, I could end up with my ass in an MX5 for 6 hours if only 2 of us !!:bigcry:Originally posted by shimmy View PostWith two car per team and 2-4 drivers you are pretty much guaranteed a good shot of 12 hours driving.
