"like a month cover" What is like a month, 28 days, 30 or 31 or 29 in a leap year???Originally posted by adem.csl..... tell them I'm doing track days in may or is there an insurance company that can give me like a month cover for the trip?thanx
You could try like a Lloyds of London who are like a huge insurance market and can insure like anything. You would have to go through like a broker who has access to like the Lloyds market. What is there not to dislike - ?
I am not sure who else does just track days separate from your everyday policy and it depends on how big your budget is.

Meant something like a month cover.like what budget used to do.for the month I intend to use it for so for example it would be 28 days if I wanted cover in Feb but seeing as were going in may it would have to be 31 days.Originally posted by Pip1968 View Post"like a month cover" What is like a month, 28 days, 30 or 31 or 29 in a leap year???

As your other car is already with Admiral call Admiral and ask to add this vehicle for short term.Originally posted by adem.csl View PostYeah basically cover for the trip.thanx
When I wanted to drive the CSL, I told them I wanted to take to a garage for repair or service and they would insure for minimum of two weeks only. I'd say please insure for 4 weeks just in case. When it ran out I would do the same when I needed it. Did this for a year or two till they knew what i was doing. Saved me a fortune. Cost for 2 weeks cover was £27.70. Only drove in the summer so no commitments to an annual policy which was something like £2k+ at the time. Pay as you Go you could call it
You'll have to get track cover separate if wanted at all.

Totally agree, mine is up this week as well so I may get the finger out. I have 4 cars insured with the one company though which I've been with for ages but unfortunately they do not offer track day cover. Will be a shame to move though.Originally posted by _Nathan_ View PostIf you are doing a few trackdays it'll be cheaper to stick the CSL on an annual policy that includes 5 trackdays or similar than insure separately, you are looking at £250 odd per day for standalone cover I'd say.

Sorry to say this Chris but there is no loyalty in Car insurance game these days. You've got to shop around for the best quote/price every year it seems :banghead:Originally posted by chrisburns View PostTotally agree, mine is up this week as well so I may get the finger out. I agree 100% and have each and every year got a stupid renewal quote and had to bargain them down. So I decided this year to take the plunge and move it but my current company called yesterday with a quote much cheaper than I seem to get on any of the comparison sites :banghead:Originally posted by mattCSLnut View PostSorry to say this Chris but there is no loyalty in Car insurance game these days.
