Whoever just bought K17 CSL...

[Mike RT4]

...Kev Jones' car - can I just say I HATE you :blalalala:.

I've been asking him about selling it every now and again for the last few years and this time when I asked, he tells me he's sold it 2 weeks ago :banghead: :smt071

[Steve B]

Only 2 weeks ago..... I thought it'd gone end of last year, as I've bought the indoor cover that was for it (start of December)...

[Mike RT4]

Well according to the message he sent me this morning, it went a "few weeks ago"? Gutted he didn't mention it to me .

[Steve B]

You fancy a CSL then Mike??? I wans't 100% on mine until Bedford last month.... You'd spend £1000's getting a Cossie handle like a std CSL

Yes, and I certainly wouldn't ruin it by putting shit 50" "gangsta" wheels on it :gayfight: .

And I have done LOL.

They were a lapse in mentality that lasted just over a week lol...

[Mike RT4]

So what didn't you like about it to start off with and what was the epiphany moment about loving it?

What mods does yours have (if you're scared about getting raged upon for daring to modify it, PM me :gayfight: ).

[Steve B]

The only mods I have are 8 pot KSport front brakes, an Agency Power rear box and 245/35 front tyres instead of 235/35 and 275/30 rear tyres instead of 265/30 everything else is as BMW built it...

I didn't really "gel" with the car at 1st (probably due to being out of rwd for 3 years and being non turbo for the 1st time in 13 years). After doing the yearly Bedford Autodrome track day the whole car seemed to make sence. It's not easy to say what it was that changed my mind (however I still fancy a V8 M3 lol)...

Steve

I know where there is a lovely black ultra low mileage E90 .

[Steve B]

lol....

Too many doors and I'd have DCT so the wife can use it on track...

You have no taste . Evo rates the E90 over the E92 . I wouldn't take it on track - it's a barge and the brakes would be dead after a couple of laps :hahaha:.

It's a fantastic road car though, and the engine note is awesome at 8250 :supz:.
