Start Sydney - blue mtns, hunter valley for 5 days. 6 day road trip to Brisbane, flight to Cairns then round out at a place called Bloomfield lodge in north east rainforest.

Sing stopover there and back.

Don't mention the Olympic cycling, Ashes, Soccer, Rugby League or Rugby Union and you'll be fine.. Talk a lot about barbys and tinnies and they'll love you.
