First Track Day Coming Up . . .
11-18-2013, 09:33 AM
Hi all, I have my first trackday coming up at Oulton - Can anyone recommend decent helmet/gloves combo to get started with (without breaking bank!)?
Cheers, Rick

Nick usually hires out this type of helmet.

Sparco Club X1 any good? Comfortable for a track day? Steaming issues?

Just rent a helmet and you can see if you want to buy one, unless they give you an old stinker, nasty.
I wouldn't bother with gloves just now and see how you go. You'll probably need them more for the outside of the car.
Enjoy, Oulton is excellent!
