Bedford Elms and Subframe repair

Picked up the CSL last week from having the subframe repair done. Very impressed from start to finish with the service i received. When i first arrived Simon Fish came out to meet me and took me around my car to explain what they were going to do to it, and why it needed doing etc. Courtesy car was a new 316d - 74mpg from Nottingham to Bedford :shock:. Whist Cesil was at Elms Bedford i had a few extra niggly bits done to it (lacquer carbon bumper fins, new CSL sill plate etc etc) - all done at a very reasonable rate i thought. When i picked the car up last week Simon once again came outside to show me in detail the repair. The whole process from start to finish was excellent. Looking forward to taking it to Gareth at the end of May for it's service

No room at the inn for mine so Bedford have farmed the work out to Elms Stansted.
Fingers crossed the standard of work is the same.

I have missed all this rear subframe talk. Is it a warranty job or is it BMW holding their hands up? Is it FOC or on the warranty, I have warranty but I also heard the car needs to be sub 10yrs old and mine is 10 on the 27th, skates on me thinks
