Chatting to my bro-in-law yesterday about cars & my CSL specifically. Trying to convince him a CSL should be his next car

So, suggested he should get a stock E46 M3 for a fun car he can also use as a daily in comfort. He's only ever had japanese cars so doesn't know much about BM's
Thing is , he lives out in New Zealand. A question for any NZ members on here, what's the parts / service / prices etc like over there. Is it a realistic thing to run an old M3 or doesn't it have the back up etc that the Japanese cars have ? Cars readilly available ?
