Looks like i have to wake up Cesil from hibernation, to replace airbag

Bavaria appears to be a little behind the curve. Quite a few airbag recalls in UK have been called forward.

Got mine done on monday with no issues at all, I've heard some tales on the 'other' website of damaging trim and not putting it back together properly but no problems here I'm glad to say.

Mine is in for a service on the 25th August and will be having the airbag done at the same time.

mine was done end of last year, they notified me that it was due for the recall when i had it at the local dealership. Never got a letter from them.. and yes, they managed to break a locking pin of the passenger side trim in the process :banghead:

This is why I am using them . There are 26 BMW master technicians in the country - three work at Sycamores .

Good to Know and now I do know its makes sense why Damian deals with Sycamore's as opposed to Elms.

Elms Cambridge had to do mine twice :banghead:
Gave it back to me for the first time hoping I wouldn't notice my glove box was now as loose as a goose & rattling away :banghead:
To be fair they did sort it out straight away after I pointed out the problem :smokin:
