Each sale has increased not only the mileage but also the asking price, 5K in 6 months isn't to be sniffed at
well 24-48hrs time il picking this one up (finally as the current owner only just beat me too it from GP Cars!) He's selling as not making use of it and has a Porsche cup car coming.

If you do the maths on the mileage eg. Merseyside to Hertfordshire is approx 200mls, so it did 300mls whilst in GP Cars care.
Similarly the chap now selling in North Somerset probably picked it up and drove it home, approx 170mls so again very little use.

Good luck with the purchase kman.

I have been following the PH thread with interest....

Lots of misguided (and mis-informed as well as opinionated) people posting on there.

There is an awful lot of judging the book by its cover on that thread, from people who've never even seen, nevermind driven, a CSL. Which is odd, as PH usually isn't like that... :hahaha:

The second one has not been serviced in 9 years!

The service history on both seems poor. I see they have both had their steering tightened, I did this recently on my 300SL to reduce the play, but have never heard of having to do it on a CSL. An error in translation I assume.

                            Just read all 14 pages...

Interesting thread on a previous csl owner disliking the csl despite posting an 8:02 ring lap.

                            Obviously not quick enough

He's probably upset that he sold it for £18k and it's now worth £45k - sour grapes .

                                Stands to reason Mike.
