Really chuffed for you mate :beer:Originally posted by AlexGTT View PostRunning in service done.
It's a brilliant bit of kit and fuckin rapid! Revs properly to 7 unlike M135i/235i. Sounds the nuts. Looks brilliant. On a good A/B road you really need no more power just this side of sane speeds.
I have decided the steering is utter wank! All electric PAS is utter shit. It's better than most and better than the M3/4 set up but I really think M division should stick to their guns with normal steering like they do with run flat tyres. :banghead:
However, as is the genius of M division, somehow it doesn't take too much shine off the car. It's a proper balls out tool this thing.
Overall, happy as a pig in shit.
You def chose right colour and box.
May be down on power compared to M4, but way cooler IMO.

For an everyday drive it's all I wanted.Originally posted by CraigMillwardCroft View PostGlad to hear your are enjoying the car
To be honest, for feel and seat of the pants thrills the CSL runs rings round it, pointing and laughing at it. CSL is in bodyshop for a tidy up but looking forward to taking them out with a mate and doing some back to back driving.Originally posted by Trawler View Post:thumbs: Keep up the reports. Be interesting to read the comparison with Cesil.
Ian, up to 100 it feels every bit as quick mate and as a road motor it's more than enough. It sounds miles better (it's no CSL howeverOriginally posted by Yanto View PostReally chuffed for you mate

My friend has had his a month or so, he loves it, I think they are a superb road car, look and sound really nice.
There was a nice black one for sale at an independent garage near me, I considered one myself.

It's great value when you think what I paid for E46 M3 back in the day. Plus with sensible spec (I'm going light on spec) it's well under the same spec M3/4 price wise and I really don't want to spend £65k. Makes perfect sense for me but maybe not everyone.
I really hate this speculative market on new cars. I make money from my business, not new cars. They are to enjoy...................while we can!
