Maybe my english is lacking but i don't get where you are reading that there will be a "new" CSL model?
All it says that the "GTS" moniker will be replaced by "CSL" in the future?
Never say never... :hahaha:"[...]but he did confirm that we'll never see an X5 M CSL."
Yeah, the Coupe Sport Lightweight name makes sense for a car that isn't even a coupe."However, he is open to 4-door M cars with CSL branding, even if they aren't coupes."
I wouldn't get my hopes up to be honest, BMW has lost their way.Originally posted by MisterCorn View PostLight and simple FTW. I hope it is really hardcore and not just a marketting exercise. Not holding out much hope.

While AMG announced their Project One Car, BMW has announced that their new brand ambassador for BMW M is a fashion model. :hahaha:

Am I the only one that thinks that BMW has lost it's way with it's M-Cars?
Since the E46 I really think BMW M has gone downhill, the E90/92 did nothing for me, the latest F82 is just a big tank, albeit quick, it's soulless.
Obviously interested to see what they produce CSL wise, but my current thought is that it will be the same as a GTS version, and that's been a bit hit and miss.
