Official Word Back from BMW Mobile Tradition on CSL Parts

Have just received the official email back from the main man at BMW Mobile Tradition on CSL Parts and NLA status and it's not good news I am afraid gents.

Word is basically none of the NLA parts will be put back into production and Mobile Tradition aren't officially putting stuff back into production until 2023 if at all - they've yet to decide either what toolings to keep for the CSL or to throw some of it away.

So that's it gents ... good luck with your cars - don't crash it or buy a spare one because by the sounds of things we are fucked and left on our own.

It looks like it's very good that all these non M3 CSL cars have CSL parts on them. :hahaha:

              Some questions...

              Which parts ?
Things on backorder are still beign made right ?
And surely warranties aren't valid anymore ?

Then I don't understand how a warranty can be sold on these cars. A back order is one thing (quite a few things in that categories, such as bumper, controls arms etc) but not available at all is something else.

Paying for nothing with the warranty on an increasingly long list of things, like the engine....

Quite easy actually - BMW still produce standard M3 parts, so they've noted those parts as equivalent replacements and can repair the cars with the standard bits.

Just don't have anything land on the carbon roof or have one start peeling then you'll be fine
