Is my promised date for engine completion before they ship to Elms.

Quite frankly I know this date will not be hit and will be truly amazed if it does. That means I would of not driven the CSL for 12 months

On my 3rd courtesy car now, just had delivery of a 435 petrol vert.
That is going to get thrashed and some donuts at maccy d's later.

And they havent taken the GT back.

With the rate that the Americans are now buying up CSL specific engine related components (air rail, MAP sensors wiring harness, control units ect) it won't be long before that wait becomes 2 years+

There's a big group buy going on at the moment with more than 15 orders for the gear above ... I know a whole bunch of cams were purchased and sent to the USA a little while back and I believe this is the main reason for the back log initially.

Do you know how much cams are, might as well put a order in for those and stock pile them?

The 435i is not a bad little car, yet to give it full beans as the roads where wet yesterday but seemed to have good grip even round the twisties.

With all this new technology can BMW see how you drive the car or do they have to plug it in?

Gutted to hear that. Why is it that everything that goes to rat sh*t the yanks seem to be involved.
