Im gonna submit it to bmw uk on behalf of all csl owners that have been left with no engines or cams.
You can pm me if you would rather not make it public but someone has to address this stupid situation and someone has to answer for it!!

what im saying adem is you have to get the info and cause the stir on twitter/facebook initially as it will be read both by BMW customer services and All BMW followers worldwide (not just a lad of car geeks on Uk forums) thus having potential to affect sales and brand image.

if they see it building they will have to step in and do something before it ends up on some consumer programme as well.

This might not be the best thing to do as i would think it would put new buyers off the CSL and prices will fall but its your call

BMW pop you in a brand new car costing them money so i would think they want your car sorted as much as you do

I'm leaning this way. I wouldn't shine too much of a light on the BMW warranty of CSL's as I think overall BMW have been very accomodating on cars that have very rare expensive parts, are very old and may have been modified or tracked (not sure this is true).

            It could be Porsche....

Ive been given a final date of this month, so I imagine all the others have also.

Fingers crossed this chapter can be closed by the end of this year.

I'm not pushing this publicly due to the potential effect on residual values.

After reading my warranty thoroughly the only grounds I can see is to pursue compensation via the warranty FSA under the grounds of 'unable to uphold the warranty terms', although there is no fixed time frame and you'd have to prove what is or is not reasonable.
