    I run setting 3 all the time and setting 6 on track I have had this on all the csl's when i first get them its the clutch cant take up a little wear on the plate so it creates clutch slip if you give the car the beans it takes up the gap but if the clutch slip is there for some time it will burn the clutch and the flywheel and booting the car works but it will come back. :whistle:

    Drive it hard and the clutch will be fine :finga:

    Whats slurring (mine had a new clutch 3000 miles ago)

    and

    When changing gear do you lift off the throttle slightly or just leave the loud pedal alone??

    Cheers all
    Steve
    keep your foot firmly planted and don't start lifting,in my opinion this is what starts clutch slur:wink:

    mine was also on Monday then after 90 laps of Spa at S6 it now seems to have sorted itself out.

    i think the two thinks you need to do are;

    1. try to drive it hard regularly
    2. try not to let slurring go on too long before you do 1.

    Oh dear this is happening to mine now, funnily enough only shortly after being in for a service at Elms, typical, couldn't have gone just before rather than after!

    Get the reset done first, and if it's not already beyond repair and you shift flat it should be ok, otherwise you'll be back in a month to get it renewed :thumbs:
