Something I said I'd never do....

    ...sell it!

With a possible property purchase coming up, there will be the imminent stamp duty to be paid :banghead: so I may have to consider selling up :banghead:

Any idea what to stick mine up for if I decide to?

    2003 '53' SG CSL, 65,000 miles
Out of warranty, FSH (specialists, not all dealers)
Just had spec 2 (along with HG :banghead
Will have new PS2s all round, had OEM discs and RS29 pads all round 4k miles ago.
Alright nick but nothing special, could do with a new steering wheel to be honest
Standard all round except Supersprint Lightweight box

    Any ideas? :whistle::bigcry:

Gutted Rich! The only thing that would make me part with mine is a house!

I'd say you want to be asking £25k+ minimum mate

sorry to hear it Mole old chap, but there are more important things in life than cars! :bigcry:

unfortunately the current time both in the year and economy will not be the best time to sell imho, especially the closer we get to Xmas and new year

looking at whats currently out there i would say your car should be offered up for around £23,995 (thats attractive when you look at the other cars) with the view to accept £23,000 with your xenons and a/c but no warranty

You could swap off the SS back box and make at least £500-800 inc getting OEM replacement (i am sure some on here will want it) and loose nothing from the sale.

i think if it looks at its best you could get more but you may have to sit on it for 2-4 months

Sorry to hear this Mole, but as said, there's more important things in life and you can always get another. ;-)

Sell the Supersprint separately for sure and yes, there's a few on here that would be after it. If I didn't just put mine through an Insp II and the possible impending Clutch and Flywheel replacement I would consider it.

Good luck with the new house.

Good idea and if it's the lightweight race box then I'd be happy to do a deal with my OEM box in replacement

Good luck with the sale if you end up having to sell.

I've been in the same position in that past - had to give up my 18 month old M3 to pay those coonts stamp duty bollox. and what worse i had to drive a Alfa for a year :bigcry:

On the upside i bought my CSL a year later, just makes you more determined to get something special again

:bigcry: I wasn't expecting this either Rich, Houses are a pain aren't they!

As for the value.... Has that reprobate Burridge been in your car? That'll knock a couple of thou off it I'm afraid! :gayfight:

I could be in a similar boat in the New Year

Good luck with the sale if it really has to go
