After years of being a complete imposter on here, I feel I can finally post with a clear conscience, and maybe even get a good nights sleep:hahaha:
Yesterday at Snetterton I finally got behind the wheel of a csl, and drove it in anger on track, So I'd like to publicly thank Dunc for forcing me out in the broom:beer: He offered, I dithered, thinking wtf will I do with the paddles- I've never been good at my left and rights.... He said come on then, after visually trying to weigh up what my car was worth( and I mean weigh up as I'm sure he'd have sent it to the scrapyard:hahaha
So I though feck it I've got to drive one one day....
So we ventured out on track, with me trying to familiarize myself with the new dashlayout asap, whilst Dunc is saying faster! faster, power now:beer:
After a few laps, I began to get a bit of a feel for the car - fantastic
what a machine:beer:
the steering on these cars is sublime, the weight of the whole car feels so perfectly balanced under heavy braking and acceleration as well as when loaded up in a corner- amazing, AP's are awesome, reigning in the speed so effortlessly, and then the grip out of the corners is a revelation compared to my fwd mildly warm hatch(dog :birdman
The engine is amazing, power delivery is again totally different to the turbo I am used to and where mine is running out of puff Duncs suddenly starts to sing sweeter- they def come alive over 6000rpm (sorry what did you say I could rev too?:whistle
how many more superlatives can I use!?:clown::gayfight:
I'm just annoyed I forgot to turn on my helmet cam to record the experience:banghead:
So once again, Thanks Dunc:beer: I owe you bigtime, no one has ever offered me their car like that and then encouraged me faster too  cheers mate
next time the beers are definately on me:smokin:
