He is currently clearing out my shed, that had been filled with his new wheels, jack, and god knows what else for the last three weeks, so once he's done loading the old girl ready for his early blast to simpsons in the AM, im guiding him up the Amstel path for the evening !!

No doubt we'll be along after ... and rob can update with the full details !!

Well, the final warranty bill came to £2500...!

I had a new head gasket, head skimming, various new oxygen sensors and throttle potentiometers as well as other bits and bobs.

I'm now having to drive her 'carefully' for the next 500 miles to avoid potential damage. I've only done 120 so far and am bored of that game already! The drive over to Snetterton should add another couple hundred later today... :hahaha:

Currently sat at Simpson Motorsport having a couple of jobs done on the car: fitting a Supersprint stepped manifold and new diff seals/oil change (after Joe noticed a leak on the diff this morning :banghead: ).

I've now let my warranty lapse and saved the £2k renewal fee so i will just have to risk it for a biscuit from now on...! :eeek:

shame they didnt spot the diff, you may have got a new one on warranty.
mmmm Im thinking about my warranty renewal. NO NOT WARRANTY TALK AGAIN.... is it worth it after £15k s worth of warranty work. On 48,000 miles so not a ball breaker on funds, I not sure if the lesser one, main parts (cant remember the name) isnt the way to go... I'm not sure if there was anything on my last claim that wouldn't have been covered on it, rather than full fat warranty cover :smt017
Finger crossed it runs well for you at Snet :supz:

Rob, Shimmy's setting was full minus camber on the nearside front and normal street off side front at Snet that was based on the pyro techy, if thats the right phrase

Must be an utter bore to drive the CSL like it's a 116i :hahaha:

Pity the Main Steeler who did all that Warranty work didn't spot the dribble as they could have tried to get you a NEW M-Diff as well :smokin:

Are you 100% sure that's a wise move with the Warranty Rob ? You know the usual turn of events with a well used S54 engine after it's had the HD done... Shimmy and Duncan will both concur
