Just thought you guys should know if you didn't already.

My cars gone in today and it appears it's Anthony's last day with murketts.

After finding someone at a dealers who actually seems to care about what he does and has some good old customer service values I find it a real shame.

It's not all lost chaps... Ant has indeed left Murketts however he has relocated to Elms BMW Cambridge who have recently opened their brand new, state of the art dealership in Camborne, near Cambridge http://elmscambridgebmw3-px.rtrk.co.uk/
Garth, who's the only M technician left @ Murketts and has been looking after our Cecils for the past few years is also leaving for Elms BMW, to join one of his other M Tech ex Murketts colleagues who's been pinched earlier on this year. Adrian who looked after Andy Presslands R.I.P position while on leave is also leaving, however he's going to work for Mercedes Benz and will be missed @ BMW.
Things are indeed changing @ Murketts BMW/ Vauxhall and sadly it won't be the same anymore for us as it's the people like Andy Pressland R.I.P., Anthony, Adrian and Garth who made it what it was... GREAT ! All I hope for is that this great service all of us received @ Murketts will carry on @ the New dealership.

Big changes then. We may have to change dealerships for servicing and warranty work if it all goes pair shaped at Murketts. Which is a shame. Its not any closer for me though.:bigcry::banghead:

Me thinks we need to open negotiations with Elms at a high level, discuss the options for both us and them, whilst nothing contractual could ever be put in place, it would be nice to drop back into the old routine so to speak. This talking to someone high up in Elms will require someone with tact, diplomacy, integrity a professional and business like approach and he will need to be held in high esteem amongst his peers on here ..... ok, I will give 'em a bell on Monday ! :thumbs:

I've already started discussions with Elms regarding this... so double "Oh Fook" :hahaha:

If it helps I know the dealer principal and have been assured that no joey will be let loose on my car or any of ours. Steve and Emma (Emma, service advisor - personally I would just deal with her as she know's the crack) said only the top M power technician would be able to go anywhere near any of our cars and we would get to meet him when we drop the car off and chat to him when we collect the car. I also spoke to them about warranty claims.

if any of you want me to ask them anything else PM me and ill speak to them face to face about it.
