Good morning, was going to put it in the house and home section but didn't want it appearing on any google searches really.
Don't know if anyone has any experience with this kind of thing, but thought I'd try.
Letting out my property in Scotland, through a letting agent with me working in Brasil and living in Ireland now, it was going to be a bit of a 'mare to manage it remotely. Employed a letting agent, all was going well until August when rental has now gone awol. The months since have been all and well, but after 4 months of mails and phone calls, they're still fobbing me off with crappy excuses. I've contacted the tenant and he assures me it's been paid, and can show receipts if required. Also, the Letting Agent hasn't denied the fact that the tenant has paid... :banghead: So in short, the Agent has taking the money and for whatever reason, hasn't bothered their arse putting it in my bank account
The agreement says: I'd be liable for an 'Admin fee' should myself and the tenant come to an private agreement which to be honest, I'm not too happy paying since it's the Agency that have failed to fulfill their end of the contract.
I've been trawling through various forums and advice websites all weekend, but wondered if anyone had any experience with the likes.
Any advice welcome.
