It's a celebration- the Home Coming Tour is a good concept.

I think that most of the references to the War etc. will be pretty much reserved for this post, and this forum, joking aside, come the day, I am sure that we will all allow sense to prevail, and take a responsible view with regards to both our actions and words and no offence will be caused, however, I do like the idea of a windscreen banner with "Two World Wars and One World Cup" on it ! :-D

I'm sure the Polizie have plenty of experience with the term, and its literal descriptive uses. If it's good enough for Nuremberg (don't mention the war) then its equally applicable to describe our forthcoming adventure to Nurburg.

Similar words to describe the event: Tour, Trip, Outing (No, not that one) hardly generate, passion and enthusiasm - Do they?
We're not off to see the lights a Blackpool, this is an event of epic proportion and one which will be remembered by most participants for the rest of their lives.:thumbs:
