Sorry to hear that Shimmy. On to the next one I guess.
Here's my new daily (from Elms Bedford.....just be clear, it's not mine)

Ridiculously refined, like a Limo. All the nav/ipod/bluetooth integration gadgets, lights in door handles and footwells, and two coffee cup holders.
No idea what gear I am in half the time as you can't hear the engine.

well had the CooperS now for 5 days and even though the mrs told me it isnt practical and I shouldnt buy it........she has had it every day since Monday.
massive thanks to Elms who held a trade car for me but in the end I found a well looked after private car in Grey/black, no run flats, full bmwsh, just had Insp2 at bmw, seems like a genuine family with baby on the way and just swapped to an E92M3 and Evoque.
Ill tell you what its like when ive driven it

Well done Shimmy. I feel better about mine now although I bought a Mini GP which comes complete with a carbon fibre spoiler :-D. Great for around town and not bad on some fast road with a top speed of 149mph and a s supercharger to boot.
Eight months on and I am still a little unsure - bi curious - ?
Pip
Ps remember your braking distance at 70mph ~ 315ft
