    What type of dyno?

Obviously yours is a replica and is just a standard M3 with a stick on "carbon look" roof :blalalala: :hahaha: - either that or we now know the answer to the age old question - "who ate all the pies?" .

      Mike,
      It was a Mainline dyno.

The corner weights come in pretty close except of course the drivers one which was quite high.....haha

I had mine Dyno'd at Hypertech in Bonnybridge, Scotland and got 311 at the wheels... I've the graph somewhere.

Yours must only be running on 5 Cylinders Paul, lol

No two Dynos are the same, I can't remember what kind of Dyno the one I got mine on was, it'll be on the graph but of course, thats at home.

            So many variants with dynos.
I tend to not bother with them but this was for other reasons so had to be done.

The bodykit adds 80bhp, well that's what it said on eBay!!!

My csl made 318bhp at the wheels

the easy way to rolling road a csl is take it for a blast S6 SPORT on
bring the car back on the rollers don't turn it off and you will get 3 rolling road runs before the car tells the front wheels are not moving and then it wont rev past 6k

Paul all rolling roads give a different reading but that's a big drop m8

In all honesty Mark I don't read too much into rolling road figures. I was happy with the results as they were for classification purposes. The HQ Mainline rollers tend to be on the low side anyway according to Russ as they are smaller rollers than the likes of Dastek.
I trust Russ with what he says + we forgot to turn the aircon off as well :hahaha:

I done the Ign on to position 2, DSC for 9 sec, Sport, Start car and perform runs.

                  I expected anything between 280 - 300 atw on a standard car so 283 run 1 and 284 run 2

Have you checked he air flap? (assuming this is your CSL)

If the air flap isn't working, you loose about 30bhp at peak.

Ps they banned me form cutters for suggesting that - well sPeciAlKev was anyway.

Shimmy, the flap resides in the shed, has done ever since the bloody thing stuck about 5yrs ago.

Mark, no he is still at HQ Dalgety Bay.

Paul you have recently had hg done?

Most that have hg done on CSL usually have issues soon after.
Ring/bore issues. Maybe it's losing a bit of compression.

Or maybe the dyno was just under reading

You would need to check another car ok same day as yours.

But as with dynos they can be very misleading.

If it's driving right, worry not
