    interesting......

    Hmmm

Having a slight pinging noise on load at 2-3k. So want to get it checked asap. Not happy, as i heard it on the test drive, but thought nothing of it really. Got a compression tester, but leak down tests seem to be better. So trying to see if i can borrow one! But wondered if usually HG signs will show in hopefully early

Of course I'm sure NJ would have fixed the engine issues prior to the sale......

Good on Lawsy & Yanto although I think most people had an idea what car it was going to be after the first few posts

What a dumb thing NJ has done. With the power of the web he has enhanced his reputation no end. It takes a long time to get a good name, but it takes only a second to lose it.

Sounds like a mod deleted stuff due to it not being in the 'secret' area ? I didn't see them tbh.

That's absolutely right Pete  I'd be interested to hear NJ's side of the story for the sake of a balanced view. It's the least he can do to try & salvage his ever dwindling reputation.

As this is the members only section and only my opinion I would guess the car hasn't been worked on and is being flipped, especially at £24k otherwise fixed it would surely be back up on his website for £28k+????
As I said, only my opinion but a sad story for this particular car as it may well always have a stigma attached to it now......

What I find strange is that the dealer buying the car did not smell a rat. NJ a csl specialist passing on a mint car at what seems to be cheap price when he could sell it himself for more money. Be interested to hear from someone in the trade who knows how these things work.

Cutters are waiting for NJ's reply as we speak. I will keep an eye on that thread with interest
