    RANT fecking cyclists

Is it me or are cyclists getting further and further out in the road
they are a f**king pest to road users in cars

I was a keen cyclist years ago but i never cycled in the middle of the road
no wonder they get run over
and as for the groups of them all over the road they should be arrested for loitering after all i have yet to see them doing 60mph on the road :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: :banghead::banghead::banghead:

    Rant over

Is it just me or do you lot feel the same

Mark I am the same, used to do loads of racing years ago and even two abreast we would have been in far enough for a car to pass on the one side of the road.

Since cycling became all popular the standard of riding is atrocious, I see guys all the time with all the gear but no idea riding and wavering all over the road.
It actually got that bad over here that many experienced cyclists gave up racing as there were far to many fit people starting to race but as i said zero experience and they caused so many crashes in bunches.

        Totally agree.

Has anybody also noticed that it seems to be groups of middle aged or older blokes?

There is a flipside though, it can be quite intimidating being on the road if you are on a bike as lots of drivers are fecking clueless and dont provide a lot of room and are impatient.

That is ok after all its a road for cars vans and trucks we pay the road tax
if they were not on the road the driving standers would not mater to cyclists:whistle:

I would also add there are more and more shit drivers on the road :hahaha:

"Road tax" has absolutely nothing to do with the right to use the highway :banghead: It's just a tax.

If you can't get past a few cyclists in your CSL you are driving it wrong. :blalalala:

I can't understand the logic of putting arrogance before safety.

Come around a corner on NSL road to be greeted by 4 a breast doing sub 20mph is a recipe for disaster.

When I'm on my bike I hug the curb to stay as far away from the fucthards in cars as possible. Or even use pavements where safe to do so. I value my life more than riding 4 abreast because the law says I can.

                      Coonts, the lot of them.

Ridiculous by me. Thames Path wankers add 5 mins to my walk to work.

Cambridgeshire is riddled with these Lycra clad suicidal Numb-Nuts :clown: Most of them seem to have all the gear but no f**king idea on how to use/share the highway safely with others :banghead: ... and don't even think about a friend "toot" to politely remind them there are cars about using the same bit of Tarmac, unless you want verbal abuse and internationally recognisable finger gestures.

Its good to see its not only me its like they have a death wish and they are always on the best roads for caring a safe speed round some twisties

I can pass them but the 4 cars in front cant and they dont leave room for a car between them to pass the first car followed them for around 1 mile then passed in the 30mph the driver of the car should have been shot :bigcry:

like this use the feckin cycle lane :banghead::banghead:

I think we've had this discussion before, maybe not here I'm not sure. I don't mind them so much cause when I'm in the CSL, it's usually for pleasure and not getting to work, home from work whatever but... Passing them without sounding like a caged beast released is always difficult and I do overtake them, or anything actually I usually get the internationally recognised symbol for 'man who fondles himself'

                            Lose lose situation.

The road is for us all to use, I don't mind bikers, I just don't get why they risk themselves by riding so many abreast
