I listed a set of M3 V8 carbon mirror caps listed with the passanger mirror has had 2 clips repaired
so no returns
my listing.

BMW M3 E90/92/93 or M1 Carbon 2x2 mirror caps
This is the original caps laminated with real carbon 2x2 cloth and resin
the pass mirror has had 2 clips repaired

you just remove your mirror backs and fit these ones on

The pictures were taken today fitted on the car



They are sold as is i have told you about the repaired clips on the passanger mirror
no returns they will be posted Royal Mail Special Delivery nextday.

They sold right away so i posted them nextday special delivery
this was 5 days later the buyer posted this with ebay

Return reason:
It's the wrong size or doesn't fit

I tried to fit these today but the drivers ones doesn t fit properly. Also the quality of finish is disappointing and the clips that align the cover are all broken.
My reply
The picture was them fitted to a car before i posted them
All the clips on the mirror were intact if the finnish was not good why try and fit them ??

He went back to ebay and this was the reply ebay made

There is no support for sellers

opps i broke all the clips its ok i will send them back as ebay will take my side :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
and i have to pay all the postage
To say i am pissed off is an unerstatment

Seems owner/sellers are always to blame, for idiots and what they do, there diy skills are non existant and cannot read plain English, could not see what was wrong with you ad :banghead:

I would have refunded no questions if he had not broken the clips trying to install the mirror covers :banghead:

It's a minefield as a seller, lots of unknown numpties and like you say if they vere on the side of buyers then you've no chance.

I only ever buy, not much at all, but always steered away from selling.

They always favour the buyer these days, wasn't always the case.
My brother who used to sell VW stuff has had his fingers burned in the past, he's virtually packed it in now other than collection in person.
If RM don't loose it or break it in the post, then some numpty will break it when fitting it. :banghead: and it's your fault!

The buyer may have won the battle but the war's just begun!!

As S.mac states you can now file a claim via ebay saying items not returned in the same condition as they left.
