The day started badly but finished ok

Awfully poor wet qualifying in both races.

M3 cut out in first back up race about 3/4 way through with ONeill at the wheel (apparently not driver error) but a clean of a crank sensor got us out for main race.

Started 19th out of 37 on grid and mainly due to ONeills sneaky overtaking and use of grass we ended up 3rd overall with I think about 15 cars in our class including 7 other M3s

it looked dry for MC race but nobody recorded a sub 2m10 time so I suspect it was still a little slower than optimum. Our best was 2m 13.2 with nearly clear lap but very very messy.

The first 12-13 minutes had a few close encounters

Very impressive E36 straight line speed

Cruised past an XJS and an XJ6

Makes me want to have a go.....just need to grow some balls and develop a little talent.

1st round of the season today so managed a fastest in both the morning practice sessions, qualified 3rd and finished with a 2nd in class.
All this with the bloody SMG cog lit up on the dash giving me dodgy gear changes!!! :banghead:

Really chuffed though and I now seem to be getting to grips with the car.
