I think 2015 racing is over for us this year although you never know!

Finished the season yesterday at Silverstone GP in a 57 car race with 13 M3s in Class A and after a poor qualification we managed to squeeze a 2nd place in class and second overall in the race.

It would have been hard to expect any more form our first full year, we managed to enter 9 races, finished 8 of them (all 40 minute/2 driver format), in big grids in the CSCC Modern Classics and New Millennium series.

1 first, 4 seconds, 1 third, 1 fourth and 1 fifth place + the DNF caused by a faulty crank sensor iirc.

Shared the seat with O'Neill all year long and still talking to each other. Tracktoys did all the race engineering and support at trackside and massive praise to them.

2e now have to decide what we do to old Betsy Blue BMW to keep up with the CSCC Arms Race over the winter to make her a bit more competitive in 2016...........?

That's a great result for a couple of Billy's like you two.

Seriously, congrats to you both - surely exceeded expectations ?

Assume you came through it all with marriages / relationships intact ? :hahaha:

I will do Shimmy. There's a bit to do before then.

You should always buy a race car after a race, it's a shame I didn't follow that advice.... I will get it sorted, just unforeseen expenditure. However after a short test a Croft it will be worth it. Engine needs sorting, over heating, something not right with the clutch and just a re shell to finish it off :bigcry:

Not too bad, just new engine and body then. Hopefully seat, harness and extinguisher are still in date
